Origin
The Borojo tree grows in the Colombian Pacific and Colombian Amazon. Its scientific name is Borojoa Patinoi Cuat. The fruit is harvested when it reaches a natural ripeness and turns from green to brown and is ready to fall from the tree.
How to use
Borojo is not only delicious but easy to use as part of your daily diet. We sell Borojo Pulp that can be mixed with milk or water to obtain juice (one tablespoon per glass). Borojo Jelly is perfect to spread on toast and Borojo tablets and Borojo and Noni tablets to maintain your energy levels.
The pulp of the borojo is brownish in color, with an acidic fruit favor, when blended with juice it is a great source as an energy juice drink. When converted to our borojo jelly it becomes the perfect spread over toast for a healthy start to your day. Our borojo tablets are a great alternative for when you are on the run or in need of energy throughout the day. Borojo fruit by itself has an acidic sour taste.
